I've been informed that some of those conspiracy theories about
hydrogen-powered cars are false, by what sounds like an authority on the
subject. Just thought you'd like to know, perhaps make it easier to
disregard the couple lines about oil companies and hydrogen reactors.

However, if the incident cited was definately true, it wouldn't surprise me.
That's not the real problem, anyway. Just an example.

Sorry for the confusion, hope that doesn't get in the way of the message I
was trying to convey.

It's about an idea of an "Open NPO" (which is basically an NPO with shares,
a democratic decision-making head, and open information about pretty much
everything) idea that some of my buddies and I have. If you want the Spec
Sheet for it, just ask.
No, I usually don't concern myself about US politics or economic issues,
because they generally strike me as bad legislation/business, and often
bother me as a result. They were merely examples of a system that fails so
scale in a timely manner. One of the problems with politics today is:
Businesses are international, government is national. Business as a whole
can be a very powerful force, and are often-times behind legislation by 2 of
the 3 branches of the government (due to button-holing, Political Action
Groups, etc (if you don't believe me, pick up any book covering US
government and read it)). That's the way the system is _supposed_ to work,
and it's a great system for that. But the business isn't the same anymore;
It's ridiculously huge and powerful, and it's going to continue getting
bigger. If you don't believe me on that one, either,
google.com/search?q=globalization+economy.

The idea is: an Open NPO will scale very well with huge economies. It's
merely an early idea, but I think it's going to be a success.

Now how does this tie into Zynot? Well, I'd like to work on it, and see if I
can get the idea passed through the Securities and Exchanges Committee,
which I'll need to pay some lawyers for (which is why I want to get it done
right the first time; I don't have loads of cash to waste =). Once it's
do-able, and it has a 501(c)-type NPO registration(so it actually has a
classification, and you can _register_ it as an Open NPO), I'd like to see
if the Zynot people would like to change to that system. Hopefully, it would
offer the same tax-benefits as a 501(c)(3), which is what Zynot is right
now. Perhaps it'll offer even more, depending on what the people in power
think of it.

So long as large-corporation bigwigs don't find out about its passing, they
won't try to "protect their interests" through briberies and such.

That's the story, and how it ties into Zynot. I think I'll probably make
some entries on the TikiWiki later on about it, so I don't have to repeat
myself all the time =) Sorry for the confusion, Daniel.

Am I missing a few mails from the list, or are you just plain flaming USA
on the zynaut list? If you are responding to something, please quote so
that your readers can understand what you are commenting on. At present I
am just flooded with unconnected mails about things which at a glance are
completely unrelated to the work at hand.
